Our wee Rob looks pretty good the day after his surgery. We didn't take any pictures since it would probably scare people to see how he looks right now. There are more IV's, sensors, wires, chest tub and the like sticking into him right now than there were the first time he was in the CCU.
The doctors think he's progressing well and will most likely start "losing" tubes and things over the next few days.
I even changed his diaper even though it made me nervous moving him at all right now.
Yay Rob!! I hope he continues to do well, and loses ALL of those tubes. As an aside, we took pictures of all the tubes and wires, although we also knew it would scare people, so we didn't show anyone. The pics will be for the baby books and for reminding us how lucky we are to have our little fighters.
ReplyDeleteYeah, we have some pictures of the first set of tubes from his first stay in the CCU. But we still might from this trip. We'll see tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteMeh, take the pics as a memory of how much of a wee scrapper he is.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad that everythign is going well!
