Meeting Grandparents

Today Robbie got to meet his other Grandad.  It was a fun evening and as you can see from below it looks like Robbie was telling him something very important.

Shopping Adventures

Well that was kind of strange today.  I'm visiting my parents right now and it was decided they needed a new printer.  So my Dad and I went shopping for one.....without Robbie.  He stayed behind with his Grandma.  That was a really weird feeling.  I haven't really gone anywhere without him since he's come home (there was a trip to the drugstore but that wasn't very long). 

The whole trip felt kind of weird.  Every once in awhile I would pause with at "where's my baby?" kind of feeling.  Or I would feel I was forgetting something. 

And of course the wee guy decided to fuss and cry most of the time we were gone.  He's been having a fussy day though.  Hopefully he'll be tired so I can get some sleep today.

Vaccination Shots

Dear Robbie,

Today you had your first set of vaccinations.  You were a real trooper.  They did simultaneous shots in each thigh.  You were so upset and indignant that they did this to you.  But you were really good.  You only cried for a minute.  I felt so bad for you.  You looked so unhappy and upset with tears in your eyes. Your "I'm in pain Mom" cry is so heartbreaking.  I'm glad it was only momentary.

Now you're sleeping away as if nothing had ever happened.

Look Ma It Fits Now

When we were at Sick Kids, clothing was a little bit of a challenge.  We had to be able to have outfits that could go around all the tubes.  Because of this we ended up dressing him in some outfits that were too big because they had snaps so the tubes could stick out.  One of the outfits finally fits him as of today!

Happy Three Month Birthday

Dear Rob,

Today you are three months old.  I can't believe how the time has flown.  It seems like you've been with us forever and yet at the same time only a few days.  You've grown so much and are changing everyday.  Right before my eyes you are growing up.  

You are the joy and light of my life.

First Trip to Home Depot

Yesterday was Robbie's first trip to Home Depot with his grandfather.  We knew it had to happen sooner rather than later.  As you can see Robbie is well prepared with his flyer in hand and ready to shop!

Just wait until he's old enough to go to the little kid classes at the Home Depot with his grandfather.  

Happy Noises

My wee boys has started making those nifty happy cooing noises.  It is just so cute.  Right now he's on his play mat waving his hands and feet around making occasional contact with the hanging toys and making his happy sounds.

Let's hope he'll get sleepy soon and we can go to bed.

First Big Tub Bath

Today Rob had his first bath with me in the big tub.  He wasn't so sure about it at first, but then seemed to enjoy it. He got to float and wave his hands and feet around in the water.  He had a couple of surprised expressions, especially when he got his face wet on his own.
